Continuous Improvement
Launching a web site is the beginning of the journey, not the end. With an infinite set of design, copy, and structure variations, the chances of nailing an optimal design on the initial launch is nil.
Giddyup has developed a process for Continuous Improvement that you can use to move toward optimal performance. It combines the analysis of behavioral data as reported by a variety of robust reporting tools; attitudinal data gathered from polls, surveys, interviews; and more than a decade long track-record of studying and optimizing web user-experience.
The beauty of the web is the constant feedback given by the marketplace. Every visit and every page view is a piece useful customer feedback. Too often this feedback is ignored or overlooked. Giddyup will help you not only gather this data, but translate it into a better performing web site.
Test
Ongoing experimentation and testing are fundamental practices for good web site management. The science of testing still requires the art of optimization. Determining what to test is where our twelve plus years of web experience comes to bear. Within the framework of a best-practices web site, experimental variations need to be developed.
We use several test methods including Split A|B Tests, Multivariate Tests, and Fractional Factorial Testing, depending on the number of variables, the nature of the data, and volume of site traffic. Over a varying test period, the test versions are served to a sample portion of the site's overall visitors, and by the end of the test period, an objective decision can be made to go forward with the change.
Analyze
Analysis leads to actionable insights and recommendations for bringing immediate and long-term adjustments and fixes to your web site with the goal of improving the overall conversion rate of your existing site, site copy and site structure. The overall purpose of our report is to identify opportunities for improvement in your Web site's conversion sequence. We will help you focus is on what is missing or how existing design and functionality could be improved.
Optimize
There's nothing less productive than sitting around a table of marketers trying to make tactical marketing decisions. Everyone has an opinion, and all too frequently the decision defaults to the loudest, or the most senior voice.
Our optimization process puts an end to this. With our method, everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas, but only the best will rise to the surface as evidenced by scientific method. Each distinct idea is documented, hypotheses are established for testing, and objective test results lead to optimal conclusion.
